6X Long Scope Reticles

The 6X Long Scope Gen ii has a small and sometimes overlooked upgrade : the ability to swap out reticles.

A look at the internals of the 6X long scope
Seen above, the reticle frame is the 1 1/2" brass piece in the middle of the photo. After removing the eyepiece (far left), the eyepiece lock ring (2nd), and the screws holding the reticle lock ring (4th ring, black steel), the reticle frame can be slid out by tilting the scope back.
Please do not touch the reticle wire directly. It is very thin, and easily damaged. It will stand up to recoil, but it is not meant to withstand a curious finger or metal tool.

We have a few reticles available for purchase, shown below.
The standard crosshairs in the 6X Long malcolm
The standard reticle. This is the reticle that ships in the kit as a normal part of the scope. A traditional design, reminiscent of the days of spider silk reticles.
the mil dot reticle for the 6X long scope
The Mil Dot reticle has 6 dots. Each dot is 1/4 Mil in diameter, and spaced 1 MIL apart. They sit on a crosswire of 0.001" thickness - marginally thicker than a fine wire, and quite easily visible.
The open aperture reticle in the 6X long scope
This reticle features an open center aperture 6 MOA across.
The crossed aperture reticle in the 6X long malcolm scope
This center aperture continues the crosshairs to the center. The circle here is similarly 6 MOA across.
