Leatherwood Dominator 6-30X56 Long Range Rifle Scope

The Leatherwood Dominator 6-30x56mm SF, Mil Plex Reticle, Rifle Scope lives up to it name and reputation. Only available at Sportsman's Guide, this rifle scope is designed with the tactical shooter in mind. It has fully multi-coated optics for clarity, hand-adjustable target turrets, a quick focus eyepiece and easy-access side parallax focusing. Plus, because precision shooting can take place in rough environments, it's housed in a one-piece 30mm tube that is nitrogen purged to be fogproof, waterproof and shockproof. Plus, flip-open eye covers let you protect the lens if you need to move fast or when it's not in use.

THE BEST, EVEN IN EXTREME CONDITIONS.

The 30mm tube offers other benefits as well. First, you get a wider field of view to catch that buck when he starts to creep into your crosshairs. You also have greater adjustment for windage and elevation for when you want to line-up some long-range target shooting. And speaking of long range, a powerful 32x zoom means you can shoot from way out there.

  • Fully multi-coated optics for clarity
  • Nitrogen-purged for 100% fog and waterproof protection
  • 100% shockproof against recoil
  • Precise 1/4" MOA for windage and elevation
  • 70 MOA for both windage and elevation
  • 30mm main tube for increased MOA adjustments and brightness
  • Hand-adjustable target turrets can be reset to 0 after sighting in
  • Easy-access side parallax focusing

Best $700 scope for only $300

My sweetheart bought me this Leatherwood Dominator 6-30x56mm scope for my b-day and it just came in yesterday. I'll give my first impression of the it.
1. The fit & finish is very nice. The black coating is even and smooth.
2. The elevation and windage turret indicators are easy to read with positive clicks, and feels sturdy.
3. The 6-30 zoom dial is snug and smooth. The cattail makes adjustment very easy. Nice and clear all the way from 6X to 30X with no hazing on the outer edges.
4. The eye focus on the end the scope turns easy and has indicator marks for fast adjustment.
5. The illumination works well.
6. Very compact. Its lighter and shorter than my Monstrum Tactical 6-24X50 scope.
7. The paralex adjust is from 20yrds to 200yrds to infinity. However, I would like to have more adjustment for greater distance.
8. The glass is very nice! It's crystal clear and doesn't seem to be cheap glass. My old scope compared to my new Dominator is like looking through a fish bowl or coke bottle bottom...lol The Dominator in my opinion falls in the $500 - $800 range.
9. It also came with see through scope cover and flip up caps. nice bonus
10. It came with instruction manual, a cleaning cloth, a battery, and allen wrench for turret adjusting. You get more than what you pay for!
If Leatherwood would fix the paralex, more adjustment, and make it FFP MOA with locking turrets, but without raising the price. They'll have a world beater in scopes 2/3 times the price.
