At Hi-Lux Optics, we are constantly challenging ourselves to push the envelope of innovation forward.
The PentaLux TAC-VF 4-20X FFP is purpose built to satisfy the requirements of the tactical and competitive shooter.
• Based in Mils, the CW-1 FFP reticle has 0.2 mil subtensions on the horizontal axis out to 8 Mils.
• From 8 Mils to 15 Mils on the horizontal axis, the markings subtend 0.1 Mils.
• There are a total of the 30 mils subtended between the thicker horizontal posts.
• On the vertical axis, there are openings subtending 0.1 Mils that indicate every half Mil.
• The center dot is 1 MOA.
First, delivery was incredibly fast. Upon first inspection, the turrets are huge, nice clicks, and the magnetic lens covers are a nice touch. Very good glass, probably the as good as I’ve seen under $1k.
Once mounted and used, my thoughts are: reticle isn’t my favorite but perfectly useable (I’d prefer a Christmas tree of some sort at the bottom). Haven’t used the illumination so can’t speak to that. Tracking has been perfect, honestly probably better than any scope I’ve used, even more expensive ones. If I have any complaint it’s that the eye box is a touch finicky for me and the eye relief seems fairly short.
Overall, excellent scope and unbeatable for the money.
all i can say is scope excellent, does what it said on the can.customer service from hi-lux 10 out of 10.
steve UK SHOOTER.
No FOV, eye relief, weight...etc on the website. Hard to make a purchase if I these are not available.
I like this scope even it doesn't 've a hard Zero Stop, turrets lock and can not find the CW-1reticle in strelok balistic .
Love the oversized turrets sincerely.
Upped the scope power from an XTC-14x34. First experience with a MilRad and a FFP. I still shot a higher score on the first match, really happy so far. I like the scope
